Pardon the self-promotional tone of this week’s blog post, but I have a few speaking engagements lined up for the fall that I’m very excited about. I’m very pleased to announce that I have been accepted as a speaker at both the upcoming SMX East conference and PubCon 2012 in Las Vegas. I feel like this is a chance for me to give back to the online marketing community that I’ve learned so much from in these past couple of years.
SMX East will be from October 2-4 at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City. I was accepted for two sessions. The first session is “Beyond The Google AdWords Tool: Advanced Keyword Research Tactics” at 9:00am on October 4th. I’ll present on how to do keyword research in a language you don’t speak. I’ve done several account launches for French and German PPC accounts and I’ve picked up a few tricks along the way. My second session is “In-House PPC: Organizational PPC Challenges & Solutions” at 1:00pm on October 4th. In this session, I’ll be talking about some organizational tools we use at BuildASign to manage online marketing projects. For more info on SMX East, click this image link:
I’m also super excited about speaking at PubCon 2012. I’ve attended PubCon the last two years, and I can definitely say that everyone there is at the top of their game in online marketing. It’s an honor to be included in such an elite group of professionals. To top it off, Robert Cialdini is the keynote speaker this year. His book Influence: The Psychology of Persuasion
should be required reading for any marketer.
PubCon 2012 will be October 15-18 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas. I’ll be speaking on the panel “PPC Campaigns – Launching and Running” at 4:20pm on October 17th. I’ll be going over how to launch international PPC accounts successfully and sharing some lessons we learned from the BuildASign Germany AdWords account launch.
I also have a special deal for PPC Without Pity readers. If you’d like to join me at PubCon, you can use the coupon code rc-6411220 for 20% off your conference registration. Just click through the image link below to learn more about the conference and register:
I’ll also be bringing some special PPC Without Pity bumper stickers with me to each conference, so if you’d like to show your love of PPC blogging with a free sticker, just shoot me a DM on my Twitter (@slivengood) during the conference.
